The Maine Flag Emoji Project was created by local volunteers who wanted to make the 1901 Pine Tree Flag accessible to everyone — online and off. This page provides emoji-scale artwork inspired by the state’s historic banner: a pine tree under a North Star, on a warm buff background. Each platform’s file has been adapted to fit its own emoji system while maintaining symbolic accuracy.
These digital versions are designed to spread awareness of Maine’s heritage while giving users a fun way to show state pride across messages, forums, and design projects. Whether it’s pinned to your server, used as a sticker, or placed next to your name — this tiny tree stands tall.
How to Use the Flag Emoji
- Social Media: Upload as a custom emoji to Discord, Mastodon, or Slack servers.
